TheT2000 series has been a top-performing standard bearer for Tait in the mobile radio market since 1992. The T2000 series comprises eight models featuring both conventional and trunked versions, and can be readily adapted to handle encryption requirements.

The modem utilises a proven, reliable radio platform. The data transfer speed is 1200 Baud and uses the FFSK format. This speed and format provides high reliability when operation is required over difficult radio paths.

The Tait Radio Modem also has an audio part available for voice and external modem applications.
